The following contract is between Frostfire Siberians (seller) and
_____________________________________(buyer).
We require a $150 deposit, which is non-refundable and applies toward the full purchase price of your puppy, which is__________________. The deposit must be received within 5 days of agreement to purchase the puppy or this pup will be put up for sale to another buyer.
This pup will be picked up on _________________________________, or no later than 8 weeks of age and the balance will be paid in full on or before pick up. In some cases we allow an alternate time, if and only if, these arrangements are made in writing. If this pup is not paid for in full and picked up on the agreed date, all monies paid toward this pup will be forfeited.
If shipping is required it will be an additional cost of _________________, which covers the pet carrier your pup arrives in, the health certificate and the cost of the flight. We will also charge _________ which is a trip charge to cover our time and gas to the airport.
If this pup does not require shipping but you would like us to drive part way to help deliver the pup to you, we charge _______ cents per mile. This fee also needs to be paid in advance.
With the purchase of this pup and the transfer of ownership to the seller, the seller assumes all responsibility for care of this pup as well as any and all liability for any damage this pup may do to person or property.
Buyers must provide proof of identity by showing a valid picture ID that coincides with the name of the purchaser that is to be put on the contract. If the ID is a drivers license, that number will be included on the contract. We also will need a recent piece of mail with current physical address of the individual listed on the contract.
No puppy will be sold to anyone who is under 18 years of age. No exceptions.
Any renter must get the signature of their landlord before receiving a pup from us, which states they are aware that you are purchasing a Siberian Husky and that they give permission for you to have it in their rental unit or house.
We further require the signature of all members of your household stating that they are in agreement with the purchase of this puppy and are ready to assume the responsibility, care and love that will be required to raise it.
We also need two pictures per year of this pup plus a yearly update on how it is doing for the first 4 years of ownership. This is to insure that it is being cared for.
If for any reason you choose not to keep this puppy/dog or are not able to keep it, we require first right of refusal.the opportunity to accept this dog back with no reimbursement to the original buyer. In some cases, we may attempt to help you re-home this pup. That would be an attempt, not a guarantee.
If we choose to pass up our right to receive this dog back, we must agree to its sale before it can be sold and we must be made aware of the new buyers name, address and phone number.
Under no circumstances can this puppy/dog be taken to a Humane Society, animal shelter or rescue group without prior agreement by the seller in writing.
This puppy must be kept in sanitary conditions, and given adequate, health care, food and water, shelter and attention.
By signing and notarizing your signature below, you are agreeing to the terms of this contract and to the fact that this contract is legal and binding. You are also agreeing that if at some future time, you are found to be in violation of the terms of this contract, the seller is able to come and without incident, take possession of the puppy/dog referred to in this contract. We further can and will pursue legal remedies for any breech of this contract.
